Buyer FAQ

Below you can find answers to frequently asked questions:

  • How can I buy art through your website?

If you wish to buy an artwork, press the ‘Make an offer’ button. Making an offer lets the artist know that you are interested in their artwork and is not in itself an agreement to purchase. After seeing your offer, the artist will contact you to negotiate the terms of the contract, including the price, terms of payment (f.ex. a payment plan) and delivery.

  • How much commission do you take from sales?

Unlike other internet-based art marketplaces, we do not take commission.

  • What payment methods can I use?

Ask the artist or their representative about payment methods (f.ex. Paypal). Find Art Globally does not handle money transactions/sales directly or indirectly.

  • What are the terms of payment with art sales?

Terms of payment (such as amount to be paid, payment method, amount of the 1st installment when paying in installments, and payment plan/schedule) should be arranged and negotiated with the artist or their representative. When paying in installments, the first installment is usually at least 20% of the artwork's cost. The first installment should be paid before the artwork is delivered.

  • How will the artwork be delivered after I buy it?

You can agree on delivery details with the artist or their representative.

  • What role does Find Art Globally have in selling and buying artworks?

Findartglobally.com does not have a role in selling or buying, and is not responsible for or take any part in transactions between artists and buyers. All sales and transactions are made between artists and buyers, in which Find Art globally does not have any part in.

  • How can I return an artwork if I change my mind?

You can discuss this with the artist or their representative.

  • Can I participate in the art raffle?

Of course! In order to participate in the raffle, you need to have a permanent address in the UK, as raffle prices are not delivered abroad. If you win, you need to reply to the artist's call/email/message within seven days, otherwise a new winner will be selected. You can participate in the raffle HERE.

  • Are all of your artist members professional artists?

Yes, all the artists you see on our website are professional artists. We curate every membership application to make sure we offer a high quality service.

  • Can I buy multiple artworks at the same time?

Of course! Through our website, you can find the latest artworks by our artists, that have not even made it to exhibitions yet.

  • How will I be notified of the progress regarding my offer?

You will receive an email when your offer has been recorded into our system, and when your offer has been accepted or rejected. The artist will contact you as soon as possible.

  • How should I proceed, if my offer has not been accepted or rejected within 10 days?

You should remind the artist of your offer. The artist may have received offers from other potential buyers, and needs to consider which offer to accept. You may contact the artist by using the 'Contact' button on the artist's profile page.

  • How long are the details of my offer kept in the system?

All the details of accepted and rejected offers are removed from the system within 30 days. Pending offers are removed within 120 days. If your offer is not responded to within a month, you can contact the artist through the 'Contact' button on their profile, and ask them to remove the details from the system, if you wish.

  • I get safety warnings from you website. Why?

If you are using an out-of-date Android browser, it cannot process secure connections, which can result in unnecessary safety warnings. Android comes with Google Chrome, which will work well and we would recommend using it when using our website. Do remember to keep up-to-date with Android updates as well.

The above applies also to computers, when out-of-date browsers are used.

Only up-to-date browsers can process a secure connection.

The website can also be used with the following address: http://findartglobally.com

This address, however, is not a secure connection.

    https://findartglobally.com is a secure site.
