Kukka-Maria Rosenlund (b. 1987, Tampere) is a Helsinki based fine-art photographer. Rosenlund's artistic process plays with the invisible and visible worlds and their border areas. The body of work explores the relationship of the self-portrait to the inherited and layered memory, as well as the historical information that constantly preserving in nature, objects and our bodies.
Rosenlund's series of works Inner Manual Distortion was selected as one part of the exhibition at the festival of
photography Fotografia Europea in Reggio Emilia, Italy, in May 2017. The festival presented photographic art with a wide range by several international artists. The themes for 2017 were time, memory, archives and the future.
Rosenlund's latest solo shows have been in Photographic Centre Nykyaika in Tampere in 2017 and in the Turku Art Museum Studio space in 2014. Currently Rosenlund is finishing her Master of Arts degree in the Aalto University in Helsinki.
